Pondering with a Purpose

Photobucket

This Week's prompt: Blogging
If you weren't spending so much time writing and reading blogs, what do you think you'd be doing with your time?
I know that most anything can take over your life if you let it.  For some people it is gambling, or drinking, gaming or blogging.  For me the time I spend blogging is as Goldilocks said "Just right".  I spend an hour or so in the morning reading and writing.  It puts me in the mood to then get busy with the chores of the day.  If I weren't blogging, I would probably just enjoy my coffee, read a bit and then start my chores.  I feel that the time that I spend blogging enriches my day, gives me a few giggles, and often inspires me.

  1. I like your comparison to Goldilocks! I love visiting all my friends in the blog-o-sphere... it makes me feel connected to something.

    Thanks for Pondering!

  2. I love to visit bloggy friends and I love to comment when I can remember to use Google Chrome. Some of the blogs like this one won't let me comment on Firefox, my fav browser. If I weren't blogging, I'd probably be reading magazines. I used to talk on the phone a lot, but as I get older, I like to do that less and less. Blogging suits me very well! It does take a lot of time, though. Have a great day!

  4. I enjoy blogging a lot, but I have to be careful that I don't allow myself to sit in front of the computer screen all day long while life passes me by. It's all about self-control.

  6. That's a very good answer. I try to work/putter for 45 minutes of the hour and play/read blogs for the other 15. It's a good system as it keeps my back from seizing. So, I guess that means I'm on the computer a lot more than you are by the end of a day. Oh dear! I AM addicted.

  7. I have just read four posts about people curtailing sone of their blogging. I, also, have done the same. I think spring has sprung early and we all want to take some time to smell the roses.
