Monday Quiz about Me

1.  If you could go to any festival or event in the world; which one would you choose?

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, New Mexico: early October Over 750 hot air balloons take to the skies, some are illuminated at night, and some are uniquely shaped.

2. What is the first sign you see that tells you spring is near?
Sure signs of spring in the desert: balmy weather, nesting birds, budding mesquite trees and - Rattlesnakes.
3. When you were in school did you do your projects as soon as they were assigned or as close to the last minute as possible?
As soon as they were assigned, I hate to work under pressure.

4. Would you rather have the power to be invisible or the power to read minds?
I would rather be invisible.  It would be enlightening to see how people act when you aren't around.  Reading minds would just be too scary.

What is your favorite type of dog?
Mine is a black lab.  Second would be American Pit Bull Terrier. I own one of each But my lab is a mix--lab and Queensland heeler


  1. I love Yorkies, with Maltese a close second. I hate dog or cat hair all over and those two breeds do not shed.

    I know Yorkies are viewed as 'yappie'but I can tell you ours was not. She had (has as she is with my daughter) a solid bark and is super protective.

  2. a siberian husky! or any dog that looks like a wolf :)

  3. From last year's giant to this year's tiny--we have done the extremes!

  4. I loathe rattlesnakes. Unfortunately being in AZ I see them way too often. I love Great Danes!

  5. I love Labs of any color because they are just a classic dog. I also love collies; I had an adored a collie when I was a kid.

  6. We had a soft coated Wheaten terrier that kept our yard free of lizards - I loved that! We now have an American bulldog and she is the sweetest, most loving and affectionate dog I've ever seen. I hear the breed is very much like that, laid back and well behaved. They are my favorites now!

  7. I am a golden retriever fan myself.
