Friday Favorite Things

friday favorite things | finding joy
These are a few of things that made me happy this week
Full Beaver Moon – November 29th This was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Full Beaver Moon comes from the fact that the beavers are now actively preparing for winter. It is sometimes also referred to as the Frosty Moon.

I was fortunate to be able to take a class from Debby Schuh, who teaches book making techniques to students around the world.

This is the example of the book that we made Thursday evening.
