Monday Quiz About Me

                                                      Acting Balanced
1. What is the most expensive car repair you ever paid for?
I spent $1200. on my truck for some wheel stuff, then a couple of months later my grandson wrecked it.

2. Who is the big bad wolf in your world?
Drugs and alcohol--my grandson drinks and so many of his friends see no problem with using and abusing them.  They think that it is cool to be blitzed.  Some have lost jobs, wrecked cars, and been in trouble with the law but it's all cool to them.

3. At what age is the best to have a first child?
22 or when school is finished and you have had some time to be an independent adult.

4. When was the last time you said something nice to someone?
Last night.  I always try and say good things before I go to bed.

  1. Alcohol is a huge problem for so many. When we devalue people, we devalue our society.

  2. I guess I had a limit. When the old car was costing me the equivalent of a car payment for the third month in a row, I told the mechanic I'd rather talk to a salesman. lol

  3. Drugs and alcohol are the big bad wolves, for sure! One local school district had so many teens die of overdoses last month that it caught the attention of the White House and a representative was here last week for a meeting on what to do. :(

One of my dearest friends is currently raising her grandkids (2 yrs. and 10 mos.) because "Dad" got the bright idea to rob the guy he bought drugs from. "Mom" drove him to meet up with the guy and now "Dad" is dead (2 bullets to the head) and "Mom" is in jail hoping to plea bargain out of a life sentence.

Stupid, stupid, selfish kids. Not only do they ruin their own lives but the lives of everyone who loves them.

  4. Alcohol is definitely a problem. It affects everyone not just those who do the drinking!
