We have all heard the saying that beauty is only skin deep. I take that to mean that a person's character is more important than their appearance. So often we judge a person by how they look, ignoring those who don't fit our definition of beauty. We can miss so much.
When the focus is
turned to how one looks as opposed to what one is, we are in trouble.
