My only hideout was in my imagination, while sitting at the desk that my grandpa made for me.

7. What's a place or space that motivates you?
My Studio

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Took grandson for post-op visit and they removed the stitches on his chin.  He was cranky, but that was o.k.  I am starting to decompress from all the stress of the past 10 days.  I took a nap, and was thinking of making some of Christmas cookies, or at least drink some eggnog.  Tomorrow, I will try and get back into the groove of things.

  1. Hi Marti, I hope that Sheridan improves from day to day. I love your is so inspiring. I hope that you will have a Happy New Year after having just experienced a Christmas miracle for your precious grandson.

  2. Your three words are great!
Oh, I forgot about grilled on the Bbq! I love shrimp that way too.
That kind of stress can make a person sick. You should just lay low for a day or two.
    Just sayin' :)

  3. Your studio looks really nice! Glad your grandson is continuing to make wonderful progress! And yes, a nap sounds perfect for all you've been through lately. I think I'll join you and have one here as well! HA!!

  4. So sorry about your Grandson but so glad he is going to be okay.

Thanks for the words of encouragement on aging. I've just seen so much the past 3 years and how quickly our lives can change and it's really caused me to think about age.

    Blessings to you this day!

  5. Oh no! I'm so sorry your grandson was in an accident, but praise God is is okay!

    Happy New Year sweet friend.

  6. Love your studio! Isn't it funny...I was thinking of making Christmas cookies today too :) Instead we bought some donuts from the bakery- they are so good.

  7. Prayers for your grandson. I love your studio. I can see why it motivates you. Hope you had that eggnog, or at least the nap. Happy New Year to you!

  8. I love shrimp any way I can get them! Your studio looks great!
