Me--I like to go carolling with a bunch of my friends of a group of children.
We are spending a lot of family time since our daughter and family are coming home for Christmas. It has been 6 years since they were home for Christmas. We also just hosted an Open House for our neighbours and friends.
ReplyDeleteCaroling is such a wonderful thing, both for the participants and for those who enjoy listening. Most years we go to the nursing home nearby with a group of friends and carol up and down the halls.
ReplyDeleteI attend Christmas Shows, Spend time with family, Go grizzwalling (looking at Christmas lights.) and this weekend taking niece Ice Skating for the first time.
ReplyDeleteI drive around to look at lights.
ReplyDeleteWhen our children were young we used to do the "grizzwall" thing too! Now that it's just my husband and me, so do it on our own!!
ReplyDeleteWe just went to our Church Christmas Party and it was so much fun. We are still decorating and enjoying our time together. We drive around and look at the lights as well.
ReplyDeleteI donate fairly regularly to the Salvation Army myself... and as far as the season goes... I like to arrange a special time for me to spend time with my family... either one on one or all together!
ReplyDeleteMy son and I will be going to our church's Christmas concert this Friday. We also bake cakes for the neighbors.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool that you go caroling! We used to do that. Now, we go to our church's Rejoicing Service and join in the singing there.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoyed going caroling--haven't done it for a long time. Lately, We go to special services at church and our puppet team just did a Christmas puppet show for the kids at church last Sunday.
ReplyDeletemy friend and i are throwing a tacky christmas sweater party and i'm doing a holiday brunch with other friends.
ReplyDeleteA cookie exchange and now with Jillians new school they do an ornament decorating event for the 5th & 6th graders. I need to get cookies done for this by Wed. We went Friday to Chico (my hometown) for the tree lighting event and Christmas bizarre.
ReplyDeleteI am not a holiday person - so I tend not to celebrate a whole lot. Thanks for participating in the MQAM - look forward to seeing you again next week.
ReplyDeleteWe host a party for our friends with dinner out together first, then back at our house for "The Fabulous Dessert Bar" mostly my baked goods and a selection of International candies and we play a borad or card game.
